Program Mission
The mission of the WINGS (Wraparound Intervention Network for Growth & Success) program is to prevent unnecessary placements of special needs youth and to promote the success of youth with complex treatment needs. Admission Criteria
Parent Satisfaction Typically, youth/parents served by the WINGS program have not achieved success in their past treatment. For many, the non-traditional, flexible approach of the program has been a "first successful treatment" experience. In the most recent parent satisfaction survey, 100% of the parents served expressed satisfaction with the quality of the program, rating it "good" or better. 94% rated it "very good" or "excellent". All of the parents surveyed stated that they would (and often have) recommend the program to a friend or relative. United Team Approach One barrier for many parents of children with complex needs are the problems associated with the "too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome. WINGS staff assumes the role of exclusive mental health provider agency and takes responsibility to make sure services are well orchestrated. One goal is for parents, extended family members, educators and the entire WINGS team to "sing one song" for the benefit of the child. The treatment team consists of licensed therapists, FTM-trained family support specialists, a child psychiatrist and, when indicated, contracted "skills trainers." What makes WINGS special?
How To Make A Referral Simply complete a one-page "WINGS Referral Form" and a signed "MACSIS Enrollment/Consent to Treat Form". Include financial details listed on the referral form. FAX completed forms directly to the WINGS Coordinator at 513-896-5682. Locations The WINGS program is a community-based program serving all of Butler County in the child/family's natural setting. Services are provided in the home, school or other community sites. Psychiatric services are provided at our Hamilton office. Each family will be scheduled for one intake interview at our office at 1490 University Boulevard, across from Miami University in Hamilton. Level of Care The WINGS program is designed to fill a service gap for youth who need more intensive, more frequent services than those provided through more traditional outpatient therapy and CSP service providers. WINGS staff carry a small caseload in order to promote exceptional dedication to the needs of each family and child. Youth who are appropriate for the WINGS program are those with "complex" multi-systemic problems who have not succeeded via routine outpatient treatment and CSP services. The WINGS program is a division of Butler Behavioral Health Services, Inc.
