Full-Time Therapist

Recruiting a skilled, licensed clinician in our Hamilton clinic to provide outpatient therapy for youth, families and adults at all levels of functioning.  BBHS is one of the oldest non-profit providers of mental health services in Ohio. A stable environment for committed professionals. Qualifications: Master's degree and LSW/LISW/PCC Ohio licensure and experience providing outpatient therapy. Independent licensure preferred. Advanced Nurse Practitioner,

Behavioral Health

Location: Hamilton, OH

Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist to work with and help expand outpatient psychiatric service capacity within a stable and growing community mental health center. Applicant must hold Ohio license and able to diagnose and prescribe medication for adults with behavioral disorders.

Opportunity to help develop integrated health care services "medical home" within a Federally Qualified Health Center. Ideal candidate will have ability to collaborate skillfully with medical and psychosocial staff and to promote best practices for care of individuals with mental disorders + physical health conditions.

Spanish fluency a plus

Minimum requirements: Ohio license for advance practice nursing in behavioral health
                                                   
Job Duties

·      Diagnosis of adults with mental disorders under supervision of MD

·      Behavioral Health pharmacology with adults with mental disorders Ability to help develop services designed to improve health outcomes for persons with co-occurring mental and physical health conditions. Case consultation for FQHC medical staff. 

·      Case coordination and linkage to array of behavioral health specialty services such as medication management, employment services, social recreational services, intensive home-based family services and/or mobile crisis intervention services

 

                                                   Requirements

·      Knowledge and ability to diagnose mental disorders in collaboration with primary   therapist and psychiatrist

·      Understanding of basic pharmacology and ability to prescribe under direct supervision of MD

·      Excellent collaborative skills and ability to function well within multidisciplinary service team

·      Ability to work skillfully in environment with multiple demands and active schedule

·      Excellent case consultation skills

·      Ability to gain and maintain confidence of MDs and therapists who are co-providers to clientele

·      Ability to document within EHR
