We Believe that Butler County Consultation & Crisis Center should be a resource to any Butler County individual and/or family who finds themselves at risk of injury or preventable loss due to a psychiatric crisis.  Equally important is assisting those families in perpetual crisis to develop coping skills and social supports in coordination with police, hospitals, schools, Children Services Board, Family & Children First Council, all mental health agencies, physicians and the faith community.

The purpose of BCCC is to provide a broad spectrum of crisis prevention & intervention services to Butler County, including:

  • Crisis Intervention
  • Post Crisis Follow-up and linkage
  • Education & Training

Our crisis intervention services are provided through both face-to-face and telephone contacts as well as through our Mobile Crisis Response Team, which works in cooperation with local law enforcement to offer on-site crisis intervention and hospital pre-screening.

BCCC consults with other agencies as needed and often responds to a crisis as a result of referrals from other agencies.
