We Believe that Butler County Consultation & Crisis Center should be a resource to any Butler County individual and/or family who finds themselves at risk of injury or preventable loss due to a psychiatric crisis. Equally important is assisting those families in perpetual crisis to develop coping skills and social supports in coordination with police, hospitals, schools, Children Services Board, Family & Children First Council, all mental health agencies, physicians and the faith community. The purpose of BCCC is to provide a broad spectrum of crisis prevention & intervention services to Butler County, including:
Our crisis intervention services are provided through both face-to-face and telephone contacts as well as through our Mobile Crisis Response Team, which works in cooperation with local law enforcement to offer on-site crisis intervention and hospital pre-screening. BCCC consults with other agencies as needed and often responds to a crisis as a result of referrals from other agencies. Our Services Education & Training

We provide consultation services to area organizations, schools and community groups both pre and post crisis events. The Crisis Response Team primarily responds to situations where there is risk of harm to self or others and a potential need for hospitalization. All other situations can access crisis assistance through telephone contact and limited, short-term face-to-face contact. Examples of situations or persons who are NOT within the scope of our agency/program capacity:
