WorkPlace Associates serves its clients using the Supportive Employment model.  The tools of this model are Job Development, Job Coaching and Job Retention supports.

Job Development: WorkPlace Associates maintains a network of employers that provides access to a broad array of job opportunities.  Job Development then determines the clients' skills and preferences and matches those with the right job and employer.

Job Coaching: Coaching provides both the client and the employer with the on-site support key to mastering job duties and the work environment.  As mastery is achieved, coaching decreases until no longer needed.

Job Retention Supports: These supports include less frequent drop-bys to assure ongoing success.  Should there be a slippage in performance or a substantial change in duties, Job Coaching may be reinitiated.

WorkPlace Associates is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health, and accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

WorkPlace Associates is also a certified provider for the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) and works closely with our clients to secure funding for our services.

Career success requires knowing and implementing the steps that match your interests and talents with available employment opportunities. At WorkPlace Associates, we view work as a way to not only earn an income, but to also provide a source of pride, personal growth, and time structuring.
