Intensive Home-Based Therapist, Children

Butler Behavioral Health provides specialized training for this position.

Are you a therapist that enjoys working with children?  Have a master degree and an Ohio clinical licensure?  We are looking for the right therapist to provide services to the children population in Butler County or Warren/Clinton counties. (we have several positions open)

  • Intensive home-based therapy treatment services for child to help them be successful in the home, school, and community settings
  • Provide systems advocacy and education to enhance family functioning and stability

Crisis and Consultation Therapist

The Crisis Therapist is responsible for the assessment, triage, and referral of persons experiencing different crises during office hours. This is a fast-paced environment with short-term client care. Crisis therapists are accompanied by a law enforcement officer when responding in the community.

Qualifications:

Master level clinician with active license in Ohio. Preferred LISW, LPCC, IMFT, LSW, LPC, MFT with at least two years experience in community mental health setting.

Education: Master's Degree in a social services major

After-Hours Mobile Response Therapist

Butler, Clinton, Preble, Warren counties

Looking to work on a contract basis, as needed, after hours/weekends?

This position will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served working closely with youth, family and community partners.  This position will also provide advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully together and in the community.

  • Provides in-home crisis stabilization services, parenting education, counseling, community resource referral, and other social services interventions to the youth and family
  • Coordinates and monitors services for the youth and family in the community, including mental health, medical, education, psychological, vocational and social services

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in social work or comparable human services field
  • LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC
  • Two years experience working with families in the behavioral health field

Skills Trainer

Do you enjoy teaching?  Are you a retired teacher looking for a PT position?

BBH provides vocational and life skills instruction to young men and women with behavioral or physical disabilities that have graduated high school.  We are looking for skills trainers to provide this service.

Responsibilities:

  • provide direct instruction in school district vehicles
  • function as part of coordinated individualized education plan developed by intervention specialist, and collaborate closely with theh school district staff and employers
  • complete high quality service documentation
  • provide transportation in school district vehicles
  • knowledge and enthusiasm about provision of non-traditional, community-based services
  • ability to build and maintain positive alliances with professional and non-professional providers of support services for young adults
  • ability to skillfully collaborate with professionals responsible for funding and planning services
  • personal values consistent with the agency's core values and philosophy of service, prevention/healing/wellbeing

Part-time position - 5 hours daily, on a school day and year schedule - occasional evening hours may be required

Education:

High School Diploma, required, Some college preferred

Experience:

1 year experience in a vocational, educational, healthcare or residential setting with people with disabilities

Billing Specialist

We are growing!  If you are detail oriented and have experience working with billing software in a healthcare environment we need you!

We are looking for an energetic billing specialist that would be responsible for:

  • data entry into a variety of billing systems
  • timely billings to Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial insurance
  • maintain accurate accounts
  • follow-up billing denials and erros in a timely manner
  • assist CFO in a variety of special projects, reconciliations

Requirements:

  • high school diploma
  • 2-3 years of experience in billing and/or healthcare environment
  • billing specialist certification (AMBA, MAB) nice to have

Dual Diagnosis Program Manager

We are looking for an energetic person that can help us develop our trauma-focused dual diagnosis, SUD program.

Job Function:

To provide on-site management of the Butler Behavioral Health Dual Diagnosis program with some direct treatment services (mental health and AoD) on a multidisciplinary team. To maintain the department as viable evidence based service to adults, children, and families with mental health issues using industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Ohio licensure (one of): LISW-S, LISW, LPCC-S, LPCC with AoD as a major Scope of Practice. AoD licensure preferred

Community-Based QMHS, Adults

  • Provide in-home supportive services, skill building, community resource referral, and other social services interventions
  • Coordinates and monitors services in the community, including mental health, medical, education, psychological, vocational and social services

Education:     Associate or higher college degree

Experience:   two years experience working in the behavioral health or related field
